A huge big thanks to everyone for their generosity and support with both the Friends Smarties Challenge and our recent Sponsored Spook. Altogether a WHOPPING sum of £2,206.50 has been raised for school funds. £1,690.50 from the Sponsored Spook and £516 from the Smarties Challenge.
The teachers are all busy putting in their orders for resources which will be put to very good use throughout the whole school. These include, books to expand our Accelerated Reading library and additional Numicon resources.
The Friends Group have very kindly given two Rushmere vouchers as prizes for a raffle. All names of the children who took part in the Smarties Challenge were put in a hat and Ayla, the Chairperson of our School Council, pulled out the following two lucky winners:
