Food4Life Visit.

Today, Primary 5/6 and 7 were delighted to welcome Margaret from Food4Life for a fun and educational cooking demonstration. Margaret introduced the children to the importance of using Farm Quality Assured meat and taught them about key aspects of food safety, including the correct use of use-by dates.

As part of the session, Margaret prepared a delicious dish of chilli beef pasta, talking the children through each step and explaining the ingredients and methods used. The highlight of the visit was, of course, getting to sample the finished dish — and it was a hit with everyone!

The children had a fantastic time learning about healthy, safe cooking and tasting something new. A big thank you to Margaret for a brilliant visit!
