Messages for This Week
Breakfast Club & After School Activities
A reminder that all after school activities have now ended for this term. Breakfast Club will continue each morning until Wednesday 1st April. School will close at 11:00am on Wednesday 1st April for the Easter holidays.
Break the Rules Day
The School Council has decided to run a Break the Rules Day tomorrow, Monday 30th March, to raise additional funds for Trócaire.
It costs 50p per rule you would like to break. Sheets were sent home on Friday — please return them with the money tomorrow to take part.
Easter Raffle
Tickets will continue to be sold on Monday and Tuesday morning, priced at 20p each or 5 for £1.
All proceeds are in aid of Trócaire.
The raffle will take place on Tuesday afternoon, 31st March. Many thanks to everyone for their generosity in supporting this very worthy cause.
Mental Health & Wellbeing Walk
Join us at the bridge at Gilford Leisure Centre on Tuesday 31st at 11:00am, as we ‘walk and talk’ together along the scenic river walk in support of mental health and wellbeing.
Library Van
The library van will be calling on Wednesday 1st April for the collection of library books. Please leave any books that need to be returned in the box provided at the school reception before then.
Cash for Clobber
The Eco Committee will be holding a Cash for Clobber collection on Wednesday 22nd April. Why not take advantage of the Easter break to have a good spring clean in preparation for this?
Please put your items for recycling in a bin liner and send them into school on Monday 20th or Tuesday 21st April. Please see below for more details.
End of Term & Return to School Reminder
As we come to the end of another busy term, we would like to thank you for your continued support. Please take a look around your home and check for any school books or items that need to be returned (reading books, library books, books from the Grandparents/Paired Reading Programme etc.). A box will be available at the school reception for the anonymous return of these items — we greatly appreciate having them back.
We wish all our pupils and families a safe, happy, and restful Easter break.
Please note that school will be closed on Monday 13th April for staff training and will reopen to pupils on Tuesday 14th April.
Many thanks.
