Messages for This Week
As part of the Junior Entrepreneur Programme, our Primary 7 pupils will be hosting a special sale on Monday 18th June as part of their business project. They will be offering a lovely selection of sunflowers and wildflowers, with all plants available to purchase for £1 per pot. We encourage everyone to please support the pupils in this enterprising initiative if you can.
Unfortunately, due to new work commitments, Mrs Connolly, our Spanish tutor, will no longer be able to continue delivering lessons. Her final session with us will take place on Wednesday 20th. We are very sorry to see Mrs Connolly leave, as she has made such a valuable contribution to school life. We would like to sincerely thank her for sharing her time, expertise and enthusiasm with our pupils, and we wish her every success and happiness in her new role.
A reminder that the school will be closed for the Bank Holiday break during the week commencing Monday 25th May, and will reopen as normal on Monday 1st June.
We would also like to remind any past pupils who received end-of-year awards last year to please ensure these are engraved and returned to the school by Friday 5th June.
Finally, weather permitting, we hope to hold our annual Sports Day on Friday 5th June. Further details will be shared closer to the time.
As we approach the end of the school year, we would like to make one final appeal to all families to please send in one box of tissues. This small contribution helps us manage the usual end-of-term sniffles and supports good hygiene across the school.
If possible, we would also greatly appreciate any donations of hayfever wipes, as these are especially useful at this time of year in helping to keep pupils comfortable and reduce the spread of germs.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support.
