P.7 Leavers’ Service 2026

23rd Jun 2026

Today we said a very special and emotional goodbye to our amazing Primary 7 class of 2026 at their Leavers’ Service. It was a wonderful celebration filled with smiles, laughter, pride, and a few tears, as we looked back on their time in our school and all that they have achieved along the way.

Each of our P.7 pupils has so much to be proud of. Over the years, they have developed into caring, resilient, and confident young people who have made a meaningful contribution to our school community. From successes in the classroom to sporting achievements, musical performances, and the kindness and friendships they showed every day — every child has played their part in making this class so special. We are truly grateful for the positivity, energy, and spirit they brought into school life.

We extend our sincere thanks to Mrs McCarthy, Mr McParland, Mrs Power and Mrs Lyness for their thoughtful and heartfelt contributions during the service. Their words reflected the strong relationships they have built with the pupils, and the awards presented recognised the wide range of talents across the class. A special thank you to Mrs McCarthy for preparing the children so beautifully and to Mrs Power for leading them so confidently in song. We also appreciate the wonderful display boards created by Mrs Greenaway, Miss McConville, Miss Doran and Mrs McCavigan, and we thank all teaching and support staff who have supported, encouraged, and guided this class throughout their journey.

Well done to all of our award winners — a fantastic achievement. While not everyone received an award, every pupil has shown dedication, progress, and a positive attitude that deserves to be recognised and celebrated.
