Paired Reading Fun for P.6 and P.1/2

Our P.6 pupils thoroughly enjoyed buddying up with the P.1/2 class to mark the start of our Paired Reading programme. The older children took great pride in sharing stories, reading aloud with confidence, and supporting their younger partners as they developed their reading skills. It was lovely to see the friendships forming, with lots of smiles, encouragement and enthusiasm on display. The P.1/2 pupils loved having their P.6 buddies, and hopefully the sessions will prove to be a rewarding experience for everyone involved, helping to build confidence, responsibility and a real love of reading across the school.
