A Fun-Filled Visit to Armagh Planetarium
On Friday 24th April, Mr King’s Primary 3/4 class and Mrs Brennan’s Primary 5 class enjoyed an exciting educational visit to Armagh Observatory and Planetarium. This fully funded trip provided a fantastic opportunity for pupils to extend their learning beyond the classroom in a fun and engaging environment.
During the visit, the children were captivated by the immersive Dome show and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the wide range of interactive exhibits. The day also included a variety of hands-on workshops, where pupils launched rockets, created model planets, and took part in engaging density experiments.
It was a memorable and enjoyable experience for all, sparking curiosity and enthusiasm for science and space.
