Cheque presentation to Save the Children

Following the fundraiser for Save the Children on 12th December we were delighted to welcome Mrs Kate Adams and Mrs Rosemary Mc Grann, volunteers in the Portadown branch of Save the Children to St. John's. Michael and Shannon, on behalf of the School Council, presented a cheque for £228.69 to the ladies and also received a certificate ackmowledging the school's participation in the Christmas Jumper Appeal. Mrs Adams spoke to the children about the work of Save the Children, enabling pupils to realise how fortunate they are in St.John's.
